I’ve recently got a Peloton Bike+ and wondered if anyone would like to take part in a thread to talk about good classes we’ve found, our progress, all that stuff?

Anyone? Grin

I did day two of Ben’s Intermediate Split yesterday after a 30-min ride and my god my legs are sore!

I’ve only done a 20-min full body stretch class today and am having a day off the bike to recover!

I will join! I don’t use it all that much these days as I run or gym instead. But I love Christian pro rides, Tunde and Matt (PZ).

Check out Olivia 10 mins core 🥵

Hello!

I haven’t dipped my foot into the PZ stuff yet. I need to do my FTP test but I’ve been struggling with a sinus infection so not at my best just now! Hoping I can do that next week.

Will check out that core class as my core is woeful, although I can now hold a high plank for a decent length of time. I could barely even get into a plank a few months ago.

I did a 30-min Bradley ride this morning and then the final day of the split. Will try to squeeze in a stretching class tonight I think as my legs are still complaining at me from leg day!

Ooh how exciting! I’ve had mine almost two weeks and I love it.

I have discovered Lanebreak on the Peloton and really enjoyed it! I did a 30-min Linkin Park ride earlier and I was dripping by the end of it. Week 2 of the intermediate split I am doing starts tomorrow, so upper body here we come…

Ooh well done 👍 I'm really looking forward to getting started and trying out the classes!

What's your aim? Mine is to loose weight but also to feel stronger and healthier and hopefully have a more positive mindset X

doodleschnoodle · 03/08/2025 20:58

I’ve lost 5.5 stone so I just want to be fitter, really, with a focus on building back the muscle I’ve lost during the weight loss and some good cardio for heart health (and chasing children!). I’m rapidly approaching 40 and I know that strength training is really important for women as they age. I love that Peloton has everything in one place: the cycling for cardio, weight programmes, yoga, Pilates, barre…

Wow well done that's an amazing achievement! 👏
I'm looking forward to all the other classes too! 💪I used to love pilates so looking forward to starting again as well.

BadKarma3467 · 05/08/2025 15:10

Hey, I started with Ally Love's beginner ride yesterday which I enjoyed and today have done Leanne's 2010's ride today followed by Barre. Really enjoying it!

doodleschnoodle · 07/08/2025 15:25

Welcome to the club!

I need to look at the barre stuff, struggling to fit it all in though!

I’ve started a Power Zone programme so will see how that goes.

Another newbie Pelotonian reporting for duty! So far I’ve done some guided scenic rides (much harder work than anticipated!) , one low impact class with Hannah someone (loads easier), and a couple of short stretches and meditations.

I’m finding the scenic rides through cities most entertaining so far- more to look at.

doodleschnoodle · 13/08/2025 12:18

I’ve not done the scenic ones yet! I’ve been away for a couple of days so back on it today, got a 45-min power zone endurance ride and a lower body strength workout to try fit in. I kept my Peloton streak going with the meditations!

Ben does really good stretching classes.

For any runners the run club and also outdoor run audios are brilliant to listen to on non bike days!

How are you finding PZ?

Gymbunny2025 · 13/08/2025 12:49

Also- Leanne and Ben are expecting. So wonderful after what they went through. I follow all my favourite instructors on instagram 😂

Gymbunny2025 · 13/08/2025 12:47

Really enjoying it actually, it feels like a real training programme than just doing isolated workouts. I ride most days so hoping I can still fit in one or two more HIIT-style classes a week, but it’s tricky finding time for all I want to do plus be aware of rest and recovery days! I do yoga on a Friday (in-person class) so I try to keep that a lower intensity day.

I was reading up on the PZ classes and FTP etc last night- will work up the courage to try them as i like the sound of the structure/ progression.

doodleschnoodle · 13/08/2025 13:19

I definitely really like the programmes, I am a rule/structure follower! I like to have a path to follow and like to plan out my workouts in advance. Unlike DH who just fires the bike up and picks randomly, although last night he thought he’d picked a 30-min ride, got 10 mins in and realised it was an hour. He had to lie down on the floor for 10 mins after that! Grin

Did my first 60-min ride today, a Power Zone endurance ride with Christine. I actually found the length more mentally challenging than physical but I was very proud of myself when I was done! Also managed a 30-min upper body sesh before bed. Rest day tomorrow I think but might try fit in some stretching or yoga if I can find the time.

I did Leanne’s 30-min Spice Girls ride yesterday and it was so good!

OP posts:
Gymbunny2025 · 15/08/2025 22:29

Well done!! I HATE 60 mins PZE with a passion!! I’ve done a couple of 90 mins ones too. There’s a group of instructors that did one last year I think. I just couldn’t mentally force myself to do it 😂. 60 mins club bangers I don’t mind though!

doodleschnoodle · 15/08/2025 22:32

The 90-min ones give me the fear! I had a mental wobble about 30 mins in where I felt in no man’s land and I just closed my eyes and pedalled, but I managed to finish in okay shape.

I had 45 mins to kill yesterday while DD2 was at dancing so thought I would do an outdoor walking workout. I didn’t realise it would include power walking intervals so I looked like Harold Bishop wiggling up the High Street in my jeans 🙈 Great playlist though, ABBA!

Gymbunny2025 · 15/08/2025 22:38

I’ve not done any of the guided walks but I know Matty M does some. He’s brilliant I’d really recommend. Also for core.

doodleschnoodle · 17/08/2025 19:18

I’ll check those out! I did a stretch class from him and it was great.

Another 45-min PZ ride today with dishy Denis and then a 20-min chest and back workout which was surprisingly hard work.
