Has anyone used karrimore tempo 8 running shoes?

No. Avoid Karrimor like the plague; they're not "real" running shoes. Karrimor was one of the brands that went bust and had the name bought up by Sports Direct. It's just cheap tat with the name of what used to be a good brand of walking shoes on it.

For running shoes you want to go for one of the well established trustworthy brands - eg Nike, Brooks, Saucony and Asics.

I ran 10k in my Karrimores today. My feet, joints, muscles etc feel fine. I have had them for a couple of years.

Really I won't be running, need them mainly for pavement walking. I have decent walking shoes for "off road" but wanted something for just round about the streets where I live. My last pair have finally worn out and they were karrimore and fit like a glove, I have had them ages and walked countless miles in them. But couldn't find the same ones so thought I'd upgrade.

Well they're probably fine for walking. And if you were happy with the last pair then get them again. The fact that the thread title was "running shoes" rather suggested you wanted shoes for running, though!
