Garmin watch for tracking walks

My husband has asked for a garmin watch. He enjoys walking along the coast and would like GPS to track his walks onto his phone. Any recommendations? I saw the Garmin Venu 2 - any good?

Is it suitable for a male sized wrist? He has an Apple phone - would it show maps of his walks?

I’ve got a venu3, had various garmin watches over the years and wouldn’t be without one. The basic model is a forerunner which is good to record walks. Just depends on what it’s really been used for depending on how much you want to spend. I upgrade mine about every 5 years

Thank you I want to spend under £200

I really like my Forerunner. I know it has run in the name not walk, but it seems very accurate at tracking my routes. I think I got the 245.

I have a Forerunner 255.
A cool feature in this model is that you can use the Connect App to programme a route in, and it will give directions as you walk/ run.
Really handy for exploring unknown places.
