Walking pad set up

Hello!

I’ve just received my walking pad and love it! I love walking and first option will always be to walk outside in nature. I walk a good mile and and half with my daughter every day to school. And I do around 30 minutes of yoga daily.

But I’d like to incorporate walking into my work life too, I have adhd and get stressed quite easily so I think this will help.

I have a kitchen island with a lip where I can easily work, but it’s not high enough to work from. So I was going to get a laptop riser. Or alternatively I was going to get a desk which rises. But that’s another piece of furniture. It might be more practical though?!

argh - what is your walking pad set up? What works for you? And have to toned up/lost weight? I’m aiming for around 1200/1500 steps a day on average.

I turn the washing basket upside down on the kitchen counter and put my laptop on top of it.

I aim for 2.5-5k steps a day on it. Easily achieved in an hour
