Running vests - how to attach straps?

I bought a running vest so that I could carry a change of clothes, as I like to run to a cafe and then have breakfast.

I didn’t need a fancy hydration one or anything so just got a fairly cheap one from Amazon. It does still bounce up and down a bit though no matter how tight I try to make the chest straps - it’s like the armholes are maybe too big for me or something. Not sure if there’s a better way to adjust it, or do they all bounce a bit? I’ve had chafing from a bra before that ended up with big red welts and sores, so I want to be careful not to let that happen again, though so far it hasn’t, the best is just a bit annoying when it bounces

also there are lots of straps and elastic cords that have tail ends that flap about. I try to tuck them in where I can, but it’s hard to find places for some of them and then it’s hard to get in when I need to. I can ultimately shorten them I guess when I decide how long I want them. But I noticed on the chest straps today that there are these elastic loops on the ends, and I wondered if that is supposed to be for securing them somehow. But I can’t figure out where to. Am I missing something? It’s only the two chest straps that have these loops, not the waist/side clips There are no obvious hooks or other loops or ties to attach them to.

I think you would be better off asking in the "Questions about this product" section on Amazon, so that previous customers can give you ideas what they do.

I have a trail running vest with all sorts of straps and elastic loops as well, but they all have specific functions.

To make mine fit better when I first got it, I unhooked the front fasteners from the vest, and reattached them further down. It looks like yours can be adjusted similarly.

Straps you can roll up and secure with an elastic loop if one is provided on your vest.

If it didn't come with a set of instructions, could you google the product name to see whether there has been any video reviews of the product that shows you what's what?

thanks, yes that might be an idea, I haven't really googled the specific product name but there might be info out there. I have a feeling it might be a cheapish one that is branded under a lot of names, but some of the other reviews might give me ideas.

I wonder if the loops could be for rolled up straps somehow, I'd not thought of that as I was trying to hook them onto something else, but maybe I'll see if they would hold the tail end rolled up. thanks!

good spot about trying the chest straps in various places too; maybe that could stop the bouncing. I'd been trying to make them tighter, and the side straps tighter too, thinking that would be the solution, but maybe placement change would help
