Would you spend money on a starter kit that includes equipment, a workout plan, a nutrition guide, and a small online support group?

I’ve been thinking about buying something like this because I struggle staying motivated working out alone at home.
I don’t feel confident enough to hit the gym yet, and I feel like having structure and a support group could help , but I’m worried it might just end up being a waste. Would love to know your honest thoughts!

I would, but I know I would be vigilant with it and actually use it.

During covid I joined an online PT who posted challenges and new daily workouts each day for her members to follow. She also had nutrition and diet plans we could access and charts to monitor our progress along with a fabulous support group which I used a lot. I lost a lot of weight following her advice and information and doing her workouts everyday as they were only 30 minutes long and I could fit them in to my day easily enough. She was really motivating and so was the group as we were 'all in it together'.

She stopped doing the online stuff after covid which was a shame but I learned so much from her and now can easily schedule and run my own workouts at home following what she taught me.

So its worth it if you think you will use it.

But only you know whether or not you are a 'purchase an exercise bike only to hang clothes on it' type of person or not 😉

I haven't seen anything like this. Are you doing market research, or is your OP genuine? Either way, I need a bit more info to answer. What kind of equipment? Cost for start up and ongoing costs? The nutrition plan wouldn't interest me, but the exercise might.
Edited, typos due to no glasses on

A work out plan- as in videos or just written down? I spend money on peloton subscription so I guess in theory yes if the equipment and content is excellent.

I wouldn’t because I don’t like to exercise at home. I either go out for a run or go to the gym. But that’s just me, I’m sure plenty would.

What type of equipment?

Apart from the equipment what about buying some dumbbells and bands and using an online PT?

Joe Wicks does something like this.

I prefer to go to the gym. But there are a lot of online PTs and programmes out there. You can use TikTok or Instagram to find what you might like.

If you want to do it, do it. You don’t need to poll MN on whether you should or not. Choose what suits you!

Although your OP sounds a bit like a marketing poll…
