Anyone on Ladder app?

I've been looking for a workout plan I can follow at home and currently doing a 7 day free trial of the Ladder App. The workouts I've done on Thrive (all 2 of them 😂) are great and just what I was after but I am finding it quite confusing. Is there a beginners guide or FAQ anywhere online? Any recommendations or suggestions for a beginner just starting on lifting weights and getting back into shape.

Bumping this up as I've just completed my first full week and decided to sign up for the next month so still be good to hear rom anyone using this app for workouts. I love the fact I don't even need to think about it just open app & press plan but do think there's swathes of info I'm missing or adaptations I could do but haven't yet figured my way around it.

Give the trial a go! I can recommend team Movewell if you are a beginner. X

Which team are you on? I dont currently subscriibe but f I ever go back to the gym as opposed to home workouts I'd be interested in Kelly Matthews's team, Limitless. I lurk on the ladderapp reddit forum and there's some good into there.

Hi, I’m on Thrive but thinking about swapping to limitless for this next round. Annoyingly, I’ve put my shoulder out (Not from the exercises I should add!) So having a week off, but hope to be back on it next week. It’s working really well for me and I like the fact I don’t have to think and just follow a program. I just have dumbbells/barbell at home, I never need any more equipment than that But on the rare occasion, I go to the gym. I just use my monthly swap and do a different workout.

Sounds good! I am using an app called CGX by Caroline Girvan, which is great for home routines but has become a little samey and she no longer includes proper cardio in the programming (hasn't for about two years). AFAIK Kelly Matthews includes cardio, sprints and intervals and I love it that the workouts take an hour. I think I will do a trial in the near future and see how it all works. Please do post reviews, you Ladder appers- I'm very intrigued.

I didn't like Thrive, especially if you're getting back into fitness. Team Align or Endure are both great! Try different flex workouts so you can see different coach styles! Here's a new 30 day free trial if anyone is curious! www.joinladder.com/referral?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=referral&utm_term=6838d94e-3e26-4310-9b8e-bfd6336b7a18&utm_campaign=share&utm_content=referral_lp&promoCode=maxguestpass30
