I have lost a lot of weight and now want to start exercising and toning up.
i have a health condition that means it needs to be low impact.
Has anyone used gymphobics gyms? Are they any good or a gimmick?

I've been going to gymophobics for 2 years and love it. I haven't lost weight, (but I haven't been trying to and I love chocolate too much.) But it's definitely benefitted my health. My cholesterol is lower, I used to get so much pain in my knees and because my core and leg muscles are much stronger now, my joints are less sore. And I like my shape a lot more. My boobs are less saggy, my legs have definition.

The best thing about it is the atmosphere. Lots of women of all ages, shapes and sizes exercising happily together with no men making us feel uncomfortable. We have a really good laugh.

You definitely wouldn't stand out if you needed something low impact. There are lots of women who have specific needs due to pregnancy, recovering from childbirth, arthritis, general aging. We have a lady who is recovering from a stroke and is having to go very gently. The staff will be able to help you get fit safely.

I've been a member for a few years and love Gymophobics. Very friendly.

I couldn't imagine going to another gym - this is a 30 minute circuit with added classes, Boot Camps etc if you want to do more (for no extra cost).
