Is it worth it? What should I do?

my husband is a member of David Lloyd. He uses mainly for swimming as he has joint problems with he’s knees. I now work from home so i had it in mind to be added on to he’s membership as a couple to go there to work sometimes and get out the house while the kids are at school plus I’m really into fitness and would enjoy down time in the spa and swimming. my husband tends to use it after he finishes work.

the issue is that my kids are off school for 2 weeks now and there off for 2 weeks again next month school holiday then there off again 6 weeks in July school holidays it’s pricey enough a month for a couple but with the kids added on it’s extortionate.

should I just join as a couple and me and partner take turns watching the kids during the holidays and do other activities when we are with them? But that would also mean I wouldn’t be able to go until early evening after my husband finishes work and after he has finished at the gym to watch the kids. On the weekends we wouldn’t go at all that’s just family time all together.

or just let my husband keep he’s membership and maybe I can exercise at home or pure gym ? Any thoughts? Although the swimming and spa is tempting

If you’re really into fitness then you’ll find a way to go and make use of the membership rather than making excuses not to go

Not really excuses as I wouldn’t stop my fitness I just wouldn’t go to David Lloyd if I’m never able to use it during the day especially in the summer period but maybe he can have kids after work I go then come back then he can go evening sometimes maybe just switch it up now and then anyway we have a 14 day trial so we’re see how it works out.

You can pay to take your kids on guest passes sometimes. I take mine all the time so it works out cheaper for them to have membership too
