Hi, is anyone else training for one of these? Or have you done one before? All tips welcomed!

I've done the Dedham one before but I am doing the Jurrasic coast one this year.

Not on track with training!

Not training for these specifically but have done long walks of these sort of distances and terrain before.

Top tips are use poles, wear in your boots/trail shoes well, and take changes of socks!

Definitely change of socks. I've done the moonwalk London walk too. This will be my first with big hills. Definitely need poles

I’m doing the Lake District one! Currently wearing in my boots. Live near the South Downs so that will have to do for hill training.

Thank you! My boots arrived this week but I’m not sure if they’re a little bit too long, but I think any smaller and they’ll be too narrow. I find it impossible to buy shoes at the best of times as I have very small but very wide feet! I think I need to bite the bullet and take them on a walk outside soon. I’ve never worn walking boots before so they feel a bit strange. My walk is in about 15 weeks so I want to start wearing my chosen footwear now.
