Best walking pad?

10 replies

BigCheese24 · 12/03/2025 21:32

I keep seeing ads and tik toks for walking pads. I really want to get one but not sure where to start.

It needs to be easy to store as I live in a small flat.

Can anyone recommend?

Is a treadmill for running and a walking pad the same thing?

Treadmills are bigger with more functions such as incline and heartrate. Walkpads are compact, cheaper, but have a lower maximum speed and a lower maximum weight. The only function they usually have is speed. Generally. I found the walkpad to be ideal for my needs at a better price but got one i could also jog/run on to be able to start C25K at home.

Do you mean a lower maximum weight that the person weighs, not the weight of the machine?

@LolaLouise - is this walk pad quiet? I live in a flat too, and would use floor mats, like you, but am curious about the noise level?

I have this one. The bar folds flate for storage, but i have the space to keep it out all the time. I also got the floor mat to reduce noise as i live in a flat too. Id def recommend it, good price, and it has a good speed range.

@BigCheese24and @LolaLouise

How are your walking pads going?

I’m about to purchase one for my daughter and it’s so hard to choose!

I ordered one from Amazon on Tuesday and it arrived today
Lugged it upstairs, set it up: and it isn’t working!
The machine is completely unreliable to the remote. Feel very annoyed - need empathy!

Looks like a make called C1 walking pad, nothing to do with amazon is more reliable
