Sorry another thread about running gear.
Got the bra sorted ✔️ and some great legging ideas thanks to you lovely women.

right, shoes now. I’ve a heavier, very slow runner, 42, high arches, get hip flexor and low back pain. I sound delightful!

Ive tried on cloudmonster 2 (too unstable, firm), Novablast 5 (very sore feet at long distance), glycerin max (arch blisters!!!)

Is there such a thing as a very cushioned shoe which will propel me forwards and be good for high arches? I need a shoe to make running easier!!!

im training for a marathon at the minute

I have high arches and wear brooks adrenaline but wear valsole full insoles. I

I think you'd be best trying Brooks - perhaps Ghost with an insole for your high arches or, as a pp said, Adrenaline.

That’s interesting about insoles. Definitely better than the endless search for shoes. Thanks for tip of valspa. I’ll have a look.
The glycerin max o currently have are Brooks. There is a hard wall and it’s rubbing against my arch. Hopefully insoles might help.

Try the Glycerins you have with an Enertor insole? If that works then it'll save you £££ in new shoes...

I love my New Balance 1080’s .. they also do a wide fit if you need a bigger tow box.

I have very high arches and get on well with adidas duramo speed shoes. I don’t know if they’re what you’re looking for and more of a budget running shoes really but I’ve found them to be great so far. I’ve been half marathon training and no blisters or aches and pains.
