Shred / Cut

I'm a regular gym class goer, mix of cardio at circuits, strength and some spin classes too, probably a leisurely swim once a week. I am intrigued at how some girls / women achieve their glutes/rounded bum look! Often accompanied with a small waist and very toned upper thighs. I've come across shred / cut terms recently and naturally curious as to how people achieve these very honed and toned bodies! I'd say I do on average 3 exercise classes per week with no actual gym dedicated time. I imagine diet must be a big contributing factor, is it all about protein intake and a lot of hard work?

I have this exact look! Honestly I think 80% down to genes as I've always had a very slim waist/round arse and chunky thighs. But stuff I do is keep my bmi around 21 with diet, spin 3 x a week run 3 x week, then weights classes and Pilates. That combo definitely gives my natural shape a very toned look. I don't lift heavy weights (never have) but I'm assuming that would help to develop this look from scratch. A PT may be able to help.

Finally I think the scrunch bum type leggings emphasise it a lot more at gym. And I suspect some women you see with this look have had a BBL!
