Does anyone use one of these? Is it a PITA to take your back wheel off every time? Currently turbo trainer is so loud so considering changing!

Yeah I’ve got a wahoo direct trainer. It is a pain so I bought another bike just for the turbo trainer. Second hand off market place. Spec doesn’t really matter as it’s not going anywhere. I mean it was a decent brand but 10 years old, aluminium not carbon and a cheap groupset. But the right size, it’s been fine. Cost me £100.

I have a wahoo kickr core and bought the Zwift frame to go with it.

As much as I'd have liked to think I would've switched in my road bike to ride the trainer regular .. I know myself too well! To be fair I don't have room downstairs to set up the trainer, so it's upstairs in a spare bedroom. Lugging the bike upstairs to do that would just not happen. PP good idea re buying a cheap bike to use with the trainer. The Zwift frame is quite expensive.

I use my old bike on the trainer full time too. Whilst it's not a huge amount of effort to change bike, it's enough if you are tired or distracted to make you skip a session.

I have the Tacx Neo and it's so much better than the non direct Tacx I had previously. I also love using the ERG mode for TrainerRoad intervals - vile things but they work!

Ohh yeah @FestiveDiscoBall I am in a love/hate relationship with ERG mode 😂
