Red raw chafing! Running related!

Red raw from chafing at the front bra line! I’ve tried 3 different bras and same with all! What’s the solution?! Has anyone tried a long line top with a built in shelf? Any recommendations?

Vaseline!

I use Bodyglide (looks like a stick deodorant). It helps massively. Sometimes I'll forget to use it and don't realise until I get in the shower! ConfusedConfused Didn't think about Vaseline so may give that a go!

Seconding bodyglide - I have big boobs so wear 2 underwired bras when I run so without it the chafing would be awful. Unless you are very petite in the bra area you do need to wear a proper bra when running not just a shelf support. Otherwise you risk stretching the breast tissue as it bounces around and once stretched it won't unstretch I'm afraid.

I’ll get some body glide and give that a go! Thanks for the tip! Body shape must have changed since last did running as haven’t had this problem before. It’s like the band is slicing into my skin 🤦‍♀️, only at the front not under the actual boobs if you see what I mean.
thanks for replies!

Yes, I have the cheap anti-chafe cream from Decathlon but it does the job for me, but when my shape changes I usually need to change my sports bras sadly, so it might be a factor if you still have problems.

Vaseline

I like bodyglide but if you forget to bring it on a run or lose it is a pain to replace. I don't think it's any more effective than lube tbh although it's handy in a stick.

At least you can buy Vaseline from pretty much anywhere and it's cheap.

Also to heal up the chafing I recommend something from the baby care aisle - sudocrem or bepanthen etc

Def body glide helps. And sudacreme after if you've chaffed. Some people also use kt tape on the bra line to help.
I used to get bad chaffing on long runs - but the runderwear power bra has been a lifesaver! Highly recommend it.
