Any Pilates Recommendations

Hello! I've always been (and hope to continue to be!) an active gym goer and do running/rowing/tabata on a regular basis. I'm 47 and a couple of people have recommended pilates as a way to strengthen my core and hopefully keep injury free. I'd ideally like something I can do online, does anyone have any recommendations? All help appreciated. Many thanks

I love online Pilates .. I've tried so many different ones so happy to recommended. I also invested in YouTube premium so that I don't get the ads and think I would be paying more if I went to a class.
My favourite is Keel Pilates .. her voice is very calming and she's an amazing teacher, in second place is Burn Pilates which I love and incorporates barre work too . I would recommend getting some inexpensive weights, a resistance band and magic circle - they are all quite reasonably priced but amazing . Also if you do get YouTube premium you can create a playlist for each day of the week and add the video in there so making you're own rotating program -good luck !

It would be a good idea to do some classes first to make sure you know the basics first. I do a zoom class every week - my teacher started them during covid and continued them- and she corrects the angle of my feet if it’s wrong! I do some online ones as well but it helps that I know how to use my muscles and breath!

I hadn't thought of getting Youtube Premium to avoid ads for things like pilates/exercise videos! That is a really good idea.

I use the Pilates for Runners app but you don't need to be a runner.

Other apps I've looked at for a trial which also look good are:

Live Brave £25 a month
Fluidform £12 a month
Chloe's pilates £20 a month

I've not trialed them but there are others like Form, Formulaic and Pilates with Bryony (which is quite pricey).
