Dublin half marathon

I'm keen to do my first half marathon this year and would like to do Dublin in September. But I can find very little information online about it, when ticket sales open etc. Searching for it either brings up information about last year's one, or else tells me what date it's on in September and not much else.

There's a new Dublin half marathon this year which is in March. Does anyone know if this is instead of the one in September, or will the September one still be going ahead? And if so, how can I find out when I could get tickets etc.

It hasn’t opened yet OP. I saw a thread somewhere on Facebook yesterday that it opens Feb 19th but I couldn’t find anything on their official page to confirm that.
the March one is separate, it is new, and sold out in hours.
The one in September is part of the existing Dublin Race Series.

@Forestcantrun thanks! I just couldn't figure out if the March one replaced the one later in the year, but that's good to know and I'll keep an eye out for it opening up in February, fingers crossed I'll get an entry. Better start training 🫣

@confusedlots Hopefulky you’ll get a spot. If you don’t, the Belfast Half is on the same day, it’s very good, but it will sell out soon. Charleville in Cork is on I think the week before and there’s probably a few more on round that week too

@Forestcantrun thank you! I had put the date in my diary and yes, the tickets did go on sale today and I have now got one! Their publicity wasn't very good go be honest! Just need to get some training in now before September 🫣
