Has anyone tried this?
I have signed up to 2 weeks for £20 and am IN LOVE! Never thought I would love yoga but I have done 3 sessions and want to go every night!
I was disappointed with how little calories it burns as I want to lose a stone but have an injury to my hip from running so trying to be careful.
I tried the rest and restore tonight after a stressful day at and it helped so much.
Just wondered if anyone else has tried this?

No I haven't, but I have been toying with the idea as there's a place within walking distance from me - your post has encouraged me to give it a go if I can get a similar deal!

love it! try to get to a class each week

The immersive aspects of it sound nice, especially the fragrance. But doesn't the heat get in the way of putting in the effort that you would otherwise? One yoga teacher at my gym always notches the heat up further than the other instructors and it really reduces my ability to get into the practice.

Ooh my local place is offering an intro offer - 10 days Unlimited £15

I am even more tempted now, I just need to work out which ten days would work best as I travel a bit with work...

I've done an introductory offer and loved it. The ongoing cost is a bit much on top of my other fitness habits to have made it a regular thing though.

I'm very inflexible and the heat did help me relax deeper into stretches.

I have done 3 sessions now and could do every night if I could!

The heat the first night I felt like I wanted to get out but since then I have got used to it.

Just disappointed you dont burn many calories!

I was a HotPod regular pre-COVID (or rather, pre-parenthood) - I loved it.

@AlbertCamusflage The heat helps your muscles warm up so that you can get deeper into the postures, after a few sessions I found you adapt to it being warmer as OP says.

@Winter20245 in my experience yoga is never the highest calorie burning exercise because it's focused on flexibility and strength as opposed to cardio burn, but it's great for your all-round fitness and to support other exercise. I did it to support my running and it really helped with preventing injury.

I did also find that I enjoyed it more in the cold winter months (the rush of coming out of the Pod into the cold morning air!) but had to back off a bit in summer heat.
