Any new year exercise buddies?

I have had a horrendous year in an abusive relationship. The previous year was the same but I am finally free. However as well as the psychological effect it has had, my health and fitness is at an all time low. I have just had a redundancy payment and have spent part of it on some things to help with fitness in the new year such as a bike, and a 'waist lead' for running with my dog (I use running the loosest terms). I also have dumbbells, kettlebells and a few other bits at home. I am going to put all these to use in the new year and get myself back to the person I used to be (even better than that person). I will be starting this fitness kick in the new year, and wondering if anyone wants to join me? I will also be looking at reducing alcohol and eating better. I'm currently on a trial with the James Smith app and liking it so far so aiming to use that properly in the new year.

I'll join you OP, been regularly exercising this year but it's died off a bit over the last month so will be back on it in Jan! Need to watch my diet better too

I'll join you. I've lost just over 2 stone recently without excercise, now I feel is the time to start adding some info my routine. I can't afford the gym though. I have a walking pad and some switch games to try.
