elite training for a 18-22 women's team

I have a team of college athletes who seem to be in a backwards phase of their training. They all come in very fit, yet my training for them is to "up their cardio to a level well above where they are"...My question is ,,, they started out doing well but seem to hit a wall in the second month...Is this normal and will they begin to come out of this

If your job is to coach an elite team, then surely this is your specialism? You should either already know what the current thinking is in sports science, or you should know where to find evidence-based information about it (professional journals etc.).

Asking MN seems a bizarre way to source professional advice. I mean, at the very least you could ask a forum that is focused on the training of elite athletes.

You probably don't go to the same parties, so it doesn't matter.

It's a fair question, if you are training a squad you should be qualified in coaching.
