Inov8 sizing

Hi all. I’m looking at the Venturelite Waterproof jacket. Anyone any experience of their jackets. I’m a UK10 which seems to potentially be a Small but am I better going for a Medium?

If there’s any better options on breathable water proof running jackets, let me know. I have a cheap and cheerful taped seams one already and it’s a bit sweaty. I’m not convinced there’s any that’s particularly breathable.

Bonus points if it’s bright and or reflective. A black running jacket doesn’t interest me, visibility is a key factor for me

I have an Inov8 running jacket and I got my usual size, which fits great. I think if you want very thick layers on underneath go up a size but there’s still plenty of room with normal size.
Having looked at the website, the Venturelite seems to be a hiking jacket? Perhaps the stormshell would be a better choice for running, and lighter. I have one of those and absolutely love it, by some magic it’s very breathable but also keeps me completely dry. Definitely worth the price

Thank you. I’m happy to try anything. Venturelite came up when I filtered to running and I liked the colour but you’re right, it could very well be aimed at hikers .
I will see what Stormshells I can find. magic breathablity sounds perfect.
The Salomon Bonnati gets good reviews too.
