Marathon 2025 Training Support Thread

Anyone training for a marathon? Which one are you doing amd how is the training going? Let's chat and support one another.

I've just received confirmation that I've been accepted to run Boston 2025 and I'm really excited about it!

There's still a while before I start properly marathon training and I have other races before then this autumn, so that will keep me.going for a bit.

Edinburgh, I’d love to finally get under 3hrs so this time I’m actually gonna attempt training with a proper plan in place🥲

Thanks @Whichoneisthebest . All the best with Chicago. Are you aiming to do the 6 stars? Well done in getting in to London as well. I couldn't do more than one marathon in 12 months!

I'm doing london in April. It's my first one. I'm up to around 22km at the moment but I did a half 2 weeks ago and did something to my hip/flexor/it band and haven't run for 2 weeks, my hip is so painful. So it's not going brilliantly.....

I'm doing the Frankfurt marathon in October. I think its my 6th marathon. I'm also considering a spring marathon. Target is under 4 hours so not as fast as some of you speedies on here. But faster than everyone still on the couch 😅

I'll join! I've got a local trail marathon in December, London in April, then potentially changing things up with either Endure 24 in June or vaguely considering a full Ironman.
