Hey everyone!

I'm 33 got 4 children. I'm single and I'm sick of feeling like crap on a daily basis. 👎🏻

I want to start exercising and want some advice and any tips from anyone on here who can help me get started.

I've got a 17 month old and I want to start toning areas like my bum, thighs and my tummy.

Now I barely exercise soo it's literally beginners exercise, I can't go to the gym or classes as I don't have anyone to look after baby while I do this. What other things can you suggest? 😊

I love Yoga with Adriene on YouTube, she will get you feeling good inside and out! YouTube dance classes or Zumba are also quite fun.

Ok so first be kind to yourself. There a some easy changes that will make a big difference if you keep at it.

I appreciate that as a single mum to 4 most things are easier said than done.

Firstly drink more water if you don't already.

Take a good multivitamin

Eat as nutritiously as you can afford

Try and get good quality sleep where possible.

Try and do things when you do them for your kids. Brush and floss your teeth while supervising/after doing theirs.

Put some cream on yourself when you apply theirs etc.

Try and build in exercise to your daily tasks.
Squat when taking out the washing. Run up the stairs when taking laundry up. Walk short journeys.

If you do all of the above things for a month you will have come so so far. Then gently introduce other things such as gentle weightloss, structured exercise, good diet.

Download the Fit On app. It's free and you can choose different exercises to focus in different areas, selecting weight, body weight, time (time I live if you only have 20 mins to do something). I use for stretching mainly.

Oh wow thank you for this, maybe I should start this first and then progress to exercise videos and Zumba on YouTube 😊
