Twist machine - any good?

I’m looking for a small exercise machine to tone my tum and bum. We have a pelaton but I don’t really enjoy it.
does anyone have a twist machine? Any good?
I can’t do weight training as I have arthritis in my shoulder.

Can you do squats, lunges, single leg squats, a million lower body exercises that you could do that don't involve the shoulder. I think any machine you get is never going to be as versatile as your own body and a bit of thinking outside the box.

Fast walking is massively underrated too.

I can't see how a twist machine could tone your bum. It could wreck your back though. What about a step machine - or even a step.

Bodyweight exercises and walking will probably be more use. So much you could do instead.

Thanks
i walk most days, usually 30 mins quite fast and including uphill.
i do squats but they don’t seem to make much difference- also can’t use dumbbells anymore so could I use a weighted belt?
I really want to trim my waist. I don’t like floor based exercises for some reason!

You need a more holistic approach - you can't lose body fat from and tone a single area in isolation, sadly. Can you walk for longer than 30 minutes a day, varying your route and changing up the speed at times?

You need to do a variety of exercises and work different muscles to get some progression. Some of the best exercises for the waist and stomach are things like chest press and lateral raises which make you use your core for stability - you need advice on what you can do with your shoulder issue though. You'd probably benefit from a few sessions with a good PT.

Thank you, I’ve been told not to put any weight on my shoulders unfortunately.
