First time in gym...

well, not first time! Ive been a member of a couple of gyms years ago but Im thinking of joining another one.
I do weight train 3 times a week but TBH I dont think I really get the most out of it at home and probably need to up my game. I dont drive but I do have a gym that is a 10 min walk away, the only issue is that its a proper old school body building gym.

I dont mind that and I can book a one off £5 session before I commit (or even keep doing £5 visits and they also have a no contract monthly rate).
My question is if I get there and they dont have any induction as such and Ive paid £5 what then? What would you do with your time??

There should be an induction - can you contact them before you go? At the very least, a staff member can walk you around and explain the equipment. Tell them what you’re hoping to get out of it and they will guide you to the appropriate equipment and even give you a routine. Well done you 💪
