Recommendations for exercises with a broken toe?

I've broken a toe (never quite gave this the sympathy I now realise it deserves) and potentially fractured a part of my foot. I am about half way through the suggested recovery period though it has potentially been set back a few times as my pre-schooler kept frickin standing on it multiple times a day until I was forced to admit that the only way to keep it safe was indeed to sit down with my foot elevated as much as possible.

I am now both bored out of my brains and feeling lardy. This experience has made me realise how little I usually sit down. Honestly can feel it in my back, thighs, bum etc. Feel like I am becoming one with the couch and I don't like it at all.

Any ideas for some ways I can be keeping active during the next 3 weeks or so? I'm assuming mobility etc will return more and more but right now I can't walk to far, get to the pool, squat, or do anything like push ups, lunges, jump, run etc. Have done some leg raises and a few elements of wall pilates but doesn't feel like enough to combat the almost constant sitting.

Poor you! I fractured a finger and hand and it made exercise more difficult than I'd have thought, so I imagine a foot is much worse.

If you search "fractured foot yoga/pilates/workout" on Youtube, there's quite a few - that's what I did with my injured hand, but obviously the exact ones that worked for me won't be any use to you!
