Running shorts that aren’t TOO short

Hi,

I'm running longer runs and the capri pants I run in aren’t light enough as I’m getting too hot so need some shorts.

I’m looking for some that aren’t too short. Tried SB power shorts in 9 and 6 inches but they feel a bit heavy and too long in the 9 inch!? The 6 inches are a possible if all else pairs but pricey for something I don’t LOVE.

Any suggestions! I like looser shorts but tried some on in NEXT and too much material so felt all bunchy.

I'm a 12 bottom 10 top.

Actually, I am going to go browse charity shops soon for them. I'm wearing blokes' swim shorts to run in right now, but bloke run shorts would be better.
