Hi all , so ive recently taking up a new hobby of walking. I have been loving exploring new trails and walks up and down the country and have been moving on to hill walling. My problem is I can walk for hours on flat but as soon as there is an incline I cant breathe, I feel like I can't get enough oxygen in my body. My husband was shocked at how bad I was and moaned everytime I stopped even though I pushed through and made it to the top each time we've done a big hill. I've tried breathing just through my mouth. I've tried in in through the nose out from my mouth etc. I really enjoy hill walking and feel a massive sense of accomplishment when I finally get there so I don't want to give up.

any advice would be helpful

I'm afraid that just gravity kicking in and needing you to work harder!! Just keep at it and your fitness will improve.
