Free Couch to 5k app NOT NHS?

Hi,

Is there e couch to 5k or intro to running app that's free forever, except the NHS one? I can't download it because I am not in the UK and it's not available to me because of this.

I tried C25k which I liked but it's only seven days free. I don't want to start paying for it only seven days in.

Thanks.

This podcast allows you to download each week as a MP3 file, so you can play it on your phone instead of downloading the app. Just click the three dot icon beside the week and that week opens in a new window, save the file and transfer to your phone.

I highly recommend Nike Run Club. It's free and it can accompany you from starting out through to being very experienced.

In particular I think the coaching and runs from Coach Bennett are amazing.

In the NRC app, at the bottom of the screen you will see Plans. Here is a starting out and a 5km plan.

Elsewhere in the app there are many guided runs to accompany you on a multitude of different types of run.

But before you put your running shoes on I suggest listening to episodes 5 and 17 of Coach Bennett's Podcast with some great advice on how to start running and some insight into Coach Bennett's training philosophy.

Just run, zero to 5k is good. Nice and simple.

Yeah just downloaded that because I had a bit of a problem with the NHS podcast switching itself off.

I second the Nike running club recommendation. It has
more than just couch to 5k too.

Just came to say thanks to @Bandol I was lurking and downloaded the NRC and then the Nike training apps. I had been getting stuck with starting running ... Was at run for 3min intervals with 1-2 mum walking between and couldn't move on. This morning I did the Nike training app runners warm up and then the Nike run club getting started plan first run and ran for 20 minutes continuously. I'm delighted!

I really like the Nike Running Club - great guided beginner runs I was running 20mins straight within a week (so so so so slowly) and the coaches come in and out while your music stays constant which really helps me
