Sport without boring 'banter'?

I love sport and feeling fit and strong and being in a team helps massively with motivation but FFS why do these all-female teams seem to revert to school-level behaviour and humour? It really puts me off that it's so cliquey and I'm pushed to either engage with this shit or be seen as not a team player.
So, do others have strategies for either navigating being in a team without having to pretend to find sex/farting constantly hilarious or ideas of sports that are less like this??

i've never come across anything like this in a running club

I suppose if I was running I wouldn't be able to reply at all so that might take the pressure off 😂

I do outdoor adventure sports and never come across this. Which sport are you talking about?

Maybe it's better/different in group rather than team sports?
I am in a running club, swim with groups and join the cycle club now and again.
There's the odd bit of crude humour but nothing incessant or vulgar.

In a hockey club here and it really depends on the team. It has been as you describe at times but we have 13 year olds playing with us so it’s a bit more sensible and less in the gutter nowadays x
