Does it matter how you structure workouts over a week?

Just wondering if anyone knows the science. Does it make a difference if I do some days resistance and some days cardio or all workout days a bit of both. And so I need to split up lower and upper body training? Essentially it would be the the same amount over the week but I’m just wondering what gives the best results

Depends what results you want.

If you want to get strong people tend to do cardio after lifting, so you have max energy for lifting.

You don't really need to split, full body is fine.

With it all the best thing is the thing you'll show up and do. That's the biggest difference you'll make.

I’ve heard that it’s best to do power after your period and endurance on the run up to your period.
