I've gained weight recently I'm on antipsychotic medication and it's just slowed my metabolism right down..

I've tried slim fast this year and eating salads etc but still haven't really lost any weight

I don't exercise much coz the medication makes me feel like I don't want to do anything..

I don't drink alcohol or smoke and I eat plenty of fruit.. maybe not so much veg

What's the best diet to be on.. are there any diet pills that really work any advice would be great 👍

If you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight without exercise.
Work out your TDEE then reduce the calories by 20% for a weight loss target. You need to accurately weigh and log what you consume on MFP or something to keep track. A salad isn’t always low calorie, depending what you put on it.

Sorry to hear about the side-effects of the medication.

How much weight have you gained? There are prescription pills like orlistat that reduce the absorption of fat (with side-effects). (Long-term, I don't think the results are impressive.)

Are you now pre-diabetic and would you be classed as obese in a way that qualifies you to be considered for ozempic or similar (injections not pills)?

Know what I'm doing wrong I literally have no fizzy drinks
Only water eat healthy I'm doing all the right things they say it's not the medication coz it has no calories in the meds but that's not what I've read online how it makes you Hungary and slows down the metabolism etc
