I’m new to going to the gym and currently doing classes - legs bums tums etc
i have been going in the same black Nike leggings that I’ve had for 5 years and a long sleeve top for weeks now and know I need to buy a sports style bra, vest shirt sleeve t and another pair of tights as I get hot in the class and want to brighten things up ! No idea how to look effortless in the bar / vest combo !
im 55 size 10 long legs ! Small bust what do I need and where do I buy for reasonable cost and good style !
googled and saw fabletics had a Quick Look at Nike gap and H&M in line but not sure how I layer the bra, baggy vest and other tops / please help a novice !!

I get all my gym stuff on Vinted! Most 50 somethings at my gym wear a sports tee or fitted vest with leggings. Not sure many bras are on show but if you like the look then go for it!

I get my tops/bra from under armour. If you're hot, wear shorts. I always wear shorts.

Try M&S Goodmove range. Some nice prints and lots of styles.

I'm tall too and their length is good.

Washes well

@Houseplanter good to know I was interested to hear about high street brands
@RayKray good point ! Not keen on my knees though !!

Seconding M&S Goodmove. I rate M&S crop-top style sports bras, but I'm small busted so they're fine.
I had some brilliant leggings from Sainsbury's Tu range, good and long in the legs, and one of my favourite gym tops is from Next.
If you have the patience for a regular rummage then bargains are to be had at TK Maxx. I have a couple of pairs of leggings from an American brand, Kyodan, which are very good and also nice and long.

I literally just wear something old from my drawer that is usually from Tescos 😂

some young girls wear the whole matching kit, look smart with bright white socks. I am lucky if I have matching socks on.

What I find is that I wash everything a lot as it’s sweaty and all the stretchy type things do end up ruined by the washing machine in the end, also I want to avoid thrush I sweat so much more in polyester so I wear as much cotton as I can

sports bras - Tescos. Cotton T-shirt - Tescos. Cotton Cycling shorts - Primark. Leggings - Tescos
but I do have one pair from some luxe sports brand my DD got me that make me look extremely ‘snatched’ but they are thrush makers 😂

i am 43 and size 12
I am prob not the person to ask as I spent more on my tech than the clothes (amazing headphones, Apple Watch etc)
