Let's hope for another safe race. Maybe a woman can finish for the first time and hopefully there'll be a handful of Brits to cheer on. Although tbh, I'll cheer on anyone crazy enough to attempt it.

It looks like they're only 4hrs behind us sunrise around 7:30 their time. Loop 5 can be mostly done in dry daylight.
What's the cutoff Tenesee time? 16:17?

John really does prefer clockwise - so I'm expecting a really short interloopal!

Damian Hall had set off at same time as him. Then all within 8 minutes of each other there were three more - Greig Hamilton, Jasmin Paris and Jared Campbell, setting off ~30 mins behind the first three.

I'm going to make then stare really hard at my phone - willing it to provide updates!!

Going to get up and have a run and hopefully while I am there will be much finishing of lap 4

Conch was at 04.17, race started at 05.17, so the cut off there is 17.17

Edited to add: btw, if interested I posed an infographic about the weather there at yesterday at 10:33. Summary is that it will be continuing mild, but rain expected and slightly windier

I fear I am not going to get much work done today... so inspiring! I might even end up entering a race I've been chickening out of entering, feels silly to be scared compared to the vastly greater scale of what a #smalleuropeanwoman can do!

I saw the photo of Ihors legs. They are solid looking beasts.

I hope Damien Hall finishes this time it was mainly due to the cock up with the book that he didn't make it last year.

He couldn't find the book, because he was hallucinating at that point, Jasmin (finishing her 4th loop despite being over time that year) was going the other way found him, the book and the biscuits, and woke him up as she went past. No telling how long he might have been spark out asleep out there if she hadn't been around.

gasp no. She's got further than any other woman so far.

Jasmin in the most successful woman at the BM100s. She's completed Fun Runs in all of her three starts. She's only the second woman to start a loop 4, and is the one who got furthest. Su Johnson did it in 2001, ran part of the lap then returned to camp. Jasmin did it last year and ran the whole lap but was over time

And as I write this - tweet arrives - she's now the first to finish lap 4!

Ah, I was wrong. So, she's finished loop 4 before but too late.

Thought not! Is she bionic? Qualified vet, two children and best female ultramarathoner of all time - phenomenal.
