I love the Barkley marathons. I hope Harvey Lewis completes it this year - he had an amazing Bigs Backyard Ultra last year and is about my age.

I would also love it if Jasmin Paris and Damien Hall could complete it too.

I think they're both capable of a finish. I was really rooting for Nicky Spink to be first woman finisher, but I think her age might be counting against her. She was the Human Sacrifice last year. I wonder when we'll find out about this years?

Jasmin Paris keeps her Strava private, so no idea about her whereabouts. Damien Hall's is public, and he's one of the three likelies I was stalking - the one who went quiet 5 days ago. The other two, who vanished well over a week ago, were Aurelien Sanchez and John Kelly

The only 3 that are definite at this stage are Harvey Lewis (US), Maxime Gaudin (France) (both apparently virgins) and Albert Herrero (Spain). Others are considered "highly likely"

You know what I think is best about that? She tweeted a day or so ago that she did it on her period, and that she's peri so they can be weird/awful.

Makes her achievement that bit more remarkable, and good on her for speaking openly
