about 16-18 years ago I did my level 2 and 3 fitness instructor course. I didn’t continue in the industry after a couple years as life took me in another direction and I became cabin crew instead. Now I’m back home, have had two kids and back doing Les Mills classes at my gym and contemplating my future career and working around school hours from 2025.
I don’t know whether my qualifications are now obsolete as I understand that REPS is no longer a creditation.
I also wonder what Les Mills classes would be the best to start off teaching. I did the circuit training course before but not exercise to music. Do I need this to teach LM? Also, and this may improve as I get fitter from birth but my limbs are not as bendy as my instructors, and I can’t jump in Jam or Dance for fear of wetting myself so how would that impact my success as a trainer?
thoughts from exercise professionals would be amazing! Thank you in advance
