C25K - Starting Week 6 Half Marathon in Sept

I've done C25K a few times over the years, it's been a few years since I ran so over last few weeks I've been doing some running as part of my walks but with no structure or timing.

I've now booked a half marathon for mid Sept so need a plan.

I tried Week 4 and found I wasn't challenged at all so I decided to start at Week 5 and go from there. I'll be doing W5D3 on Fri morning.

Anyone in the same boat?

It's definitely doable.
In my first year of running, for various reasons it took me Oct-Mar to get through C25k and I signed up for a 8.5 mi race in the June, trained up to 10k for that and accidentally ran it all and found myself talked into a HM in Oct 364 days after I started C25k.

Get through C25k. Pick up a 10k plan then plateau there and get comfortable before picking up a HM plan. C25k is actually the hardest stage. 10k to HM is quite straightforward by that point.

Thanks Bog
I've done half marathons in the past last one being Sept 2017.

My memory of training for it was two short runs and add a mile onto long run each week?

So running isn't new and I seem to have muscle memory of it. I also learned how to pace myself in 2013 so as not to run too fast and have to stop and this seems to be standing to me now. I'm doing the running stints of C25K as prescribed and not going over them as I don't want to push too hard too soon
