Just that really! But first some background. I’m 45, two dc (10 and 12), have always loved exercise, in particular running which I used to do quite heavily. Nowadays I’ve toned it down and combine running 5k once or twice a week with strength training twice a week. I sometimes swap a run for the bike (road or wattbike depending on weather). It’s the strength training I need advice on. My pelvic floor is weak, I use the Squeezy app to help with pelvic floor exercises so I’m working on that, however I love strength training but I’m worried I’m making things worse.
I’ve completed Caroline Girvan Iron using much lower weights and over a significantly longer time. I loved it. I’m currently doing Fuel and not enjoying it as much so thinking of repeating Iron again instead. But before I do I wondered if anyone is able to recommend an alternative programme which is gentle on the pelvic floor whilst also making me feel as strong and badass as Iron did!
