Sore pelvis after running (8months postpartum)

I have had numerous niggles and aches over the last 8 months since my baby was delivered (by emergency csection) and have worked hard to build up my strength through pilates and weights to help support and repair my body. I was feeling good to start some impact exercise and after week 1 of couch to 5k I now have pelvis pain - specifically, the bones between my legs. So frustrating. Anyone experienced similar?

Is the pain in the middle of your pelvis? Sounds like pelvic girdle pain. I think you should see a physio specialising in women’s health. You probably need a combination of pelvic floor exercises and core workouts.

Hi @Earbuddy thanks for your reply. The pain is around the bones centrally between my legs. It's difficult to pinpoint on a skeleton image but i ghink6 the pubic arch / pubic ramus? Baby had a contact nap for over an hour today while I was sat on the floor, pelvis was v sore afterwards.

Agree on the women's health physio! thank you
