Where to start C25K after 2 years?

In January 22, I ran 175kms (after 2 years of clocking up similar monthly distances). I then lost the spark and had given up entirely by September 22. Tried C25K again in Jan 23 but logistics got in the way and I didn't get past Week 5. Trying to get up the motivation to get going again. Where would you start C25K again? From the start?

Depends what you have done in the meantime. When I’ve restarted I’ve usually tried w4 (iirc w5 is when the solid 20 min run happens?) and adjusted according to how I’ve coped.

I've had to restart a couple of times and always go back to the beginning. Irrational but anything else feels like cheating.

Have you been doing other exercise? I'd stopped running for about 3 years although doing other exercise and fitness levels were quite high.
I just ran 5k without stopping to test myself, it was t particularly fast but if you were running that much before muscle memory is true

Thanks everyone. Been doing too little so think I will start from Wk 1. No cheating! Hope muscle memory is indeed true.

I am an on / off runner and last half marathon runner and I've promised myself this was the year to finally run consistently.

I did week 1 of C25K but found it too easy so moved to w2. I actually did w3 runs 2&3 straight after each other as I can feel myself getting back into it. My downfall with the app is the 20 mins run at week 5

I've been known to fast track through one run of each type after a break. If it's comfortable, move on. If not, repeat as needed.
