Will weights at home be enough

Weightsquestion · 20/08/2023 19:54

I have some weights I want to use at home. How often should I use them? Will they help me tone up?
Is there a good routine I could follow?
I don't really know what to do or where to start.
Thank you

I’ve done a few of Cee’s workouts, they seem pretty good, especially the full body ones.
She has some full body workouts that start at 20 mins so you don’t feel it’s all too much and throw the towel in. She’s on TikTok too and I’ve used a few of her moves off there and just done 4 rounds of 12 reps or whatever to give myself a 20 min workout.

The thing that’s got me really toned is actually yoga with Kassandra and Fightmaster yoga. I do one of those videos 3 x a week then just do a weights workout once a week.

What size weights do you have?

mushroommummy · 22/08/2023 18:49

Depends on the weight of the weights?
Diet etc

small weights will work well for keeping you flexible and mobile (along with other exercises) to be toned you need heavy weights and a seriously decent diet.

Weightsquestion · 23/08/2023 15:27

What would constitute a seriously decent diet?
Current weights are 3kg but I have 5kg too.

Have a look for Caroline Girvan on YouTube and go from there, you won't look back

Love Caroline G, but have been really into Sidney Cummings lately.
like switching between the two.
