I am looking for recommendations for pants that you can't see through leggings, that hold in a mum tum and that don't cost the earth, any suggestions?

You need thicker ‘compression’ leggings - like sweaty Betty power leggings. Pricey, but they have sales. I’d also risk sizing down with them.

Do you just wear those then with no underwear? I’d worry they ripped!

I wear big granny pants from the support underwear section. I dont really care about VPL tbh. I wouldn't exercise without underwear as I wear a panty liner and need to attach it to something

id look for something seam free round the legs, support panel at the front and a high waist. you want to avoid all the squish lines. also don't downsize unless they're really good quality cos threy'll just go see through

The link doesn't work, any chance of retrying? Thank you

Fab, thank you 😊

It’s the leggings that you want to do the holding in and not be see through.
As long as you have that then the underwear is less important.

I love the sweaty Betty super soft ones. Expensive though.
I also have some of these but they are five years old and I’m not sure if the quality has changed at all -

I use M&S Goodmove leggings and micro fibre pants can't remember if they are marketed as Good move or not.

I didn't want to go wild in expensive leggings that I'd hoped would become too big.
