Csection shelf

Has anyone successfully managed to get rid of a C-section shelf with only exercise and a good diet and how long did it take? Ive lost all my baby weight after my second but the shelf is much more prominent this time (had a C-section for first baby too). I'm fairly fit so it's noticeably prominent to me as the rest of my body looks like it did pre-pregnancy. Have started doing more core exercises but open to advice or suggestions from anyone Smile

Mine has massively improved after doing consistent c-section scar massage, have you been doing that? The skin sits on top of the scar tissue so the more you normalise the area the less of a shelf there is.

Ooohhh how do you do that? Thanks so much for replying!

Sadly it is mostly down to the skill of the surgeon. Exercise is unlikely to do much.

Google c-section massage, depending on how long it's been you could try ultrasound therapy too. It definitely helped me but I was lucky I had a physio come to my bed and tell me to do it!

I thought as much! Will give the massaging a go but what will be a I'll be I guess Smile
