How to prioritse exercise when exhausted...?!

Wasn't sure where to put this - as good have gone under various sections, but I'm 16 weeks pregnant, work full time and have a toddler that doesn't sleep through the night.

I hear so much as how beneficial exercise is in pregnancy and just feel so guilty that I'm not doing anything other than the odd dog walk when DH is in town.

I've got subscriptions to pregnancy friendly workouts and a peleton which is used more as clothes horse but I have so little energy and time just disappears. I just don't understand how best to prioritse a workout when I just want to curl up on the sofa.

I'd cut yourself a bit of slack - you're pregnant, got a toddler and working full time! It's probably not the best time to decide to become a gym bunny!
Can you walk to or from work, or part of the journey, or get out for a walk at lunchtime? I find a 20min lunchtime walk does wonders for my afternoon productivity, otherwise I'm ready for a nap by 3pm!
Use the peloton once the toddler is in bed or get DH to do bath/bedtime while you go out for a walk or do an easy cycle.
What about pregnancy yoga online?
Go swimming as an family and take it in turns to do a few lengths while the other plays with the toddler.
Walk the dog regularly ( I assume DH does it the rest of the time?)

Can you go swimming? Or is there a pregnancy yoga class near you? Both felt brilliant when I was pregnant.
It's wonderful to feel weightless in the water when pregnant!
Be kind to yourself and rest when you need to op. Listen to your body.

exhaustion is your body telling you to take it easy.

do what you can. a 10 minute walk outside is a good start.

do more if you feel like it.

taking your toddler to the playground is also great.

Why are you pressuring yourself so much? Life is hard enough. Aren't work and toddler exercise enough? If you're exhausted, rest. Doctors orders

Work with your body, not against it.
If your body is telling you to curl up on the sofa, roll with that.

If you're 16 weeks, there's a good chance that some energy should come back soon, and that's more likely to happen if you've given your body what it needs.

Between exhaustion and SPD, my body did not have much motivation to move in pregnancy. I gently got back to normal in the months beyond that, despite having been unable to do much for 9+ months.

I'd say the best approach is to listen to your body as its already working hard making a little person! When I was pregnant and knackered I made time to rest each day and just did very gentle exercise as I felt fit for. Little and often is probably the best approach. I did a pregnancy yoga class and then did some gentle walking and stretching at home. Sometimes only 10 mins but I felt good for moving and it didn't exhaust me so it felt manageable.

Thank you everyone for your responses. You’re right that I probably need to cut myself from slack.

Also it’s so tough. I totally hear you. I am mentally exhausted all I want to do is to shutdown and sleep early. It makes it even worse that my partner is saying oh you will feel more alive/energetic after you do some exercise!

I’ve started reformer Pilates in a really nice studio and did that 8 times I got bored of it. I have white obsessive quite quickly and then I also get bored real fast.

Have you got any friends that can keep each other accountable. In the past I found it million times easier to keep up for exercise (say 10k step a day) when my friend and I are doing it together so we can chat about other things whilst doing the said exercise.
