Help identifying pain in bum

Hi :-)

after growing four large babies I was left with some weakness in my back/bum/stomach/hips etc. Physio helped a lot.

Now I’m left with an occasional pain at the top of my bottom, where it meets my back. I did a long drive this week and the next morning I couldn’t get myself out of bed!

It’s worse if I stand and flex my toe up on that side - like I can feel my hamstring (?) pulling right to my lower back.

Movement helps. I have a peloton bike and do upper and lower body weights too, plus 10k steps a day.

What sort of exercises might help do you think? I hope someone recognises my description.

I do something called the Simplistic Mobility Method. It's a whole body thing. Everything is connected so the symptom you're experiencing could be lots of things but worth addressing all your mobility to improve that plus prevent other things then cropping up.

Hi there!

Sorry for the late reply. I had the exact same issue after a birth injury. I also needed physio.

I did this video and it helped a lot. Before it I couldn't even finish a load of dishes without a chair during behind me so I could sit down and takes a break. It was very painful. After doing the video just 3 days in a row I felt significant improvement!

I can now clean my entire kitchen and take a walk down the street holding my little without back pain. It's wonderful! 😊
