If Caroline Girvan is too hard ...

I am a middle aged woman who has a set of adjustable weights at home and has been working out at home following FitnessBlender and Sydney Cummings. But starting to find them too samey

So, I'm not exactly a beginner. Inspired by MN I have tried Caroline Girvan's Epic Beginner and just found it really hard (even after repeating it). Plus I don't really like the fact she doesn't talk - I prefer someone shouting at encouraging me.

Can anyone suggest something that is like Caroline Girvan but easier and still focussed on strength - I don't mind doing a bit of cardio but it's not my preference?

I enjoy Zeus Fitness on YouTube. Strength based workouts of around 20-40 mins, he uses dumbbells but you could definitely do bodyweight if you needed to. A few workouts have some cardio included but the majority is weights

Did you try Caroline Girvan's iron series?
I was in the same position as you before doing it and loved Fitness Blender but wanted a change. I didn't get on with any other CG programmes (hated EPIC) but iron was good and exactly what I needed

Jillian Michaels? The 6 week six pack one hurts.

I find CG too hard! I use HASfit on YouTube instead. They have great strength training workouts which are much more doable!

Bodyfit by Amy

Or Heather Robertson but she doesn't talk during the workout

Thanks so much for all the ideas! Will keep me busy for a while until I work out if I like them or not.
