Swimming headphones

Can anyone recommend headphones I could swim with that ideally would link to Spotify on my Apple Watch?

Looking for comfy, good Bluetooth connection.. anything I haven't thought about as well!

Blue tooth rarely works with swimming headphones as they don't connect when submerged, so there's not many options.

Most swimming headphones have built in MP3 players.
Decathlon have a nice cheap one that works well at a good price.

Ahhhhh that's a shame, I might need to look at those ones then. Thanks!

Great minds! I came here to post this very topic, will eyeball this to see what's suggested.

You need these, op
Shopzygo.com

These look great, but does it mean you have to leave your phone on the side of the pool? I’d be worried it would be nicked!

I have the shockz bone conduction mp3 headphones and they are great. they were pricey but managed to get them in a black Friday deal. I love them, I listen to music, podcasts and audible books on them.

Sorry Shokz open swim is the correct name. Be careful when you order, loads of the bone conduction ones say waterproof, make sure you read the description properly as many are waterproof as in they can resist sweat when running etc, but not actually waterproof for swimming if submerged. I made that mistake and had to return a pair

@reesewithoutaspoon I was hoping to get some of these for Christmas but I got lego instead (yes, I am an adult!).

I've got the running ones already but how easy is it to change to content on the swimming ones ? I previously had a very old finis SwiMP3 player (yes, it was ancient) and changing the content was such a faff I listened to the same music while swimming for about 5 years.

Good old Sony Walkman waterproof mp3 and Bluetooth headphones. Work a treat, leave my phone on the side with either the radio or Spotify going and they cover me over a 15 m pool. I can get the Bluetooth while doing back crawl. I don't swim under under water. Mp3 for normal play list.

it's easy enough to put songs and downloaded mp3's onto the earphones, just plug them into the PC and drag and drop your music/audible stuff over to the headphone file.
It has 2 settings, general sound and underwater sound which you can switch between, sound quality is good
3 buttons. The only thing it doesn't have is a shuffle option. but it does have a skip option so you can move back and forward a track.
I just plug it into PC and shuffle my songs/books around into the order I feel like listening to before I go swimming.
There are cheaper 'mp3 swimming bone conducting ' headphones on amazon, but some of them aren't true bone-conducting, just headphones with a hole on the side that directs the music towards your ear, so other people can hear it too and the sound quality isn't that great.
Definitely read the reviews before you buy. you will be able to spot those ones from them.
