Deep heat....

I have recently started Hiit classes. I was taking ibruprofen afterwards to stop the aches but have since learned that it won't help and will hinder my progress. So I have started to use deep heat on the occasional twinge. I did a particularly hard session today and my knees are a bit achey and my lower back is a bit twingy. I have applied deep heat a minute ago, I love the smell but why does it feel cold and not hot? And will it help? 🤔

I'm not sure HIIT to the point of needing pain relief is ideal. Maybe a form issue?

It's only the aches you get after exercise. I have trouble sleeping usually so I thought ibuprofen would help take the edge off.

Not sure how ibuprofen will do any harm, I would just take it if it helps
