Lose Weight Rowing?

Has anyone lost weight using just a rower?

It is what you eat and how much that will determine if you lose weight or not.

you need to row at quite a high level for an hour or so just to burn off one mars bar or cake. It’s easier to not eat the cake

Rowing burns a lot of calories, but I find it also makes me feel incredibly hungry. I’m currently training for a 10k (6x1 hr a week) and have had to significantly increase my calories to sustain that level of exercise. I’ve actually gained weight as a result, so I wouldn’t recommend that level of exercise for weightloss

Yes
I lost weight rowing 3x a week combined with waking for an hour briskly every day and reducing calories by only a small amount (200-300 less than my daily TDE)
