Slippery floor and Youtube workouts

I've been doing some Youtube workouts in my dining room but the floor is that kind of laminate that went out of fashion more than ten years ago and I'm sliding all over the place. I actually think I might slide over and injure myself so I'm limiting my movements.

I can't afford to replace the laminate, is there a covering I could put down? I've tried a yoga mat but that slid around too and also doesn't cover a large enough area.

What do other people do? Thanks for any ideas.

I have the same issues on my tiled floor so I either do it in bare feet or in yoga socks that have lots of grippy stuff on the soles or in soft thin indoor trainers similar to kids plimsolls.

Bare feet or the school type simple trainers with rubber feet.

Get a mat off Amazon.

Trainers or grippy socks like kids wear at the trampoline park
